Mind Gardening

The Lord was reminding me today about our mind chatter or lack of taking thought.
A good gardener doesn't sow the seeds,
 or plant the plants,
and then turn around and curse the plants by saying:
 I hope you do something!
Or, this is never going to happen!

No.  They say: I'm so looking forward to what you produce!
I can't wait to eat you Mr. Cherry Tomato!(that's always my thought) lol
Or, I'm going to make such a beautiful arrangement out of you flowers!

Our thoughts should be the same in our mind garden:
I'm sowing this seed of hope, joy, peace,
and I'm looking forward to the harvest!

I may not see it yet, but I know this new job is going
to produce, so I can be blessed and be a blessing to others.

Or, I know that as I wait, a relationship is wanting to spring up,
and we are going to live here (insert beautiful place) and laugh!

You have to tend to your mind garden.
Lack of good thoughts can produce weeds and stunt growth.

Start to cultivate that 'Mind Garden' so you can reap the rewards!

Happy Gardening!!

I don't know the artist of the photo I'm sharing but I thought it was perfect.
